Last Chance to Earn Your Invite to the Summer Youth Initiative Job Fair!
TeenQuest – a pre-employment and leadership training program that prepares young people for success in the 21st-century workplace – is hosting one final session for the 2020-21 academic year. Orientation is Feb. 18, with program running from Feb. 22 to March 25. Program details are listed below:
· Five-week program
· Virtual format
· Focus on developing skills to secure and keep a job
· Learn key soft skills including setting goals, taking initiative and managing change
· Write resumes, prepare for interviews, open personal checking/savings accounts
· Attend orientation
· Participate in three one-hour sessions each week and complete take-home assignments
· Complete program to become eligible for the Summer Youth Initiative (SYI) Job Fair

Picture retakes for virtual students will be on Wednesday, February 10th from 10:30 - 12:00 at Columbiaville Elementary for all students in grades K-12.
High School picture retakes for face to face students will be on Thursday, February 11th.

Virtual Learners: Pictures will be Wednesday February 10 from 10:30-12 at Columbiaville Elementary.
In Person learners: Middle School and high school retakes will be Thursday February 11 during the school day. Middle school pictures will be first thing in the morning in the middle school media center.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR SUGAR BUSH
It is almost that time of the year and we are in need of help to keep our sugar bush program up and running. We need volunteers to help guide the students tapping trees, collecting sap, baking cakes, boiling sap, supervising tours and bottling syrup at the end. No experience needed!! Please call the middle school office if you are able to help us out. 810-591-3945 Hoping to start mid February and run as long as mother nature will let us.
