Starting next month, the middle school will once again be working with The Community Bereavement Department of ProMedica in offering a grief and loss support program to students that have experienced a loss due to the death of a loved one. This will take place during the school hours at no charge to the students and will run for 5 consecutive weeks. If you would like your student to be a part of this program, please contact Robin Mitchell, LVMS Counselor at 810-591-3930.

We will be having a Washington DC pre-trip meeting for all 7th and 8th grade parents that have students going on the trip on Thursday October 20th, 6pm in the middle school cafeteria. Students don't need to come, they will be meeting with the teacher/staff chaperones that morning during seminar and going over similar information. This will be two weeks before depature. We will also meet with the kids the week of our trip to answer any additional questions, check the weather, and make any adjustments.
If you cannot make the meeting on the 20th, please let us know. We can send the information home with your student and if you have any questions after going over the information, we will have time to answer those before the trip.
The teacher/staff chaperones will be, Mrs. Fazio, Mrs. Terwilliger, Mrs. Hebekeuser and Mr. Baldermann.
