LakeVille High School’s summer school credit recovery program is being offered once again this year! Summer school will run from July 5th, 2022 – August 1st, 2022. Registration forms and payment must be received by Thursday, June 30, 2022 @ 11:00 a.m. in order for the student’s Edgenuity account to be set up and activated.

Registration forms may be dropped off at the high school main office during office hours by Thursday, June 30th, 2022 at 11:00 a.m.. If mailing the registration form to the address noted on this letter also include: To the Attention of Summer School on the address/envelope. Courses will cost $50.00 per class. All tuition fees must be paid in full at time of registration. Checks can be made payable to LakeVille Community Schools. Tuition fees are NON-REFUNDABLE. Students who complete a course(s) with a passing grade will receive a 50% refund per class. Students can take up to three courses during the four week summer school period. Students can only register for class(es) that they have not passed successfully in previous semesters.
Students will be able to access their coursework at https://www.edgenuity.com/login/. Students’ usernames and passwords will be emailed to the address listed on the registration form by 5:00 pm on July 3rd. Weekly progress reports will be sent directly to this email as well. Wifi access is needed to access Edgenuity. Edgenuity can be utilized via android devices, smartphones, as well as any type of computer or laptop that has internet access.
An open computer lab on the high school campus will be available in Room 228 Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, beginning July 5th, 2022 – July 30th, 2022. It will be open each of these days from 8am to 11am.
If students need access to a Chrome Book to utilize for summer school courses, Chrome Books can be signed out during the registration process or on the first day of Summer School, July 5th in the Main High School Office.
Chrome Books will need to be returned the Main High School Office no later than August 22, 2022. Grades for coursework taken and completed will be processed no later than the end of the work day on August 8th
.
Families will receive an email with verification of the grade processed. Failing grades will not be placed on the transcript. Again, the email used for this notification will be the email included on the registration form.
Please email Karlene Vogt at kvogt@lakevilleschools.org if assistance is needed with course selection(s). Ms. Vogt will be available via email through June 30th at 11:00 a.m. to answer any questions you may have regarding the selection of class(es).
Ken Whitney will be the lead teacher during the summer school program. He is available to assist with any summer school questions Monday – Friday, 8:00-11:00, from July 5th – August 1st. Mr. Whitney can be contacted via email at kwhitney@lakevilleschools.org.
Again, registration forms must be received by the high school by Thursday, June 30th @ 11:00 a.m.
