Ms. Bryant’s 7th Grade Science classes created videos to educate the public about the low sturgeon population. Students researched the problem, causes, and ways people can help. Then they wrote scripts and recorded public service announcements.
Ms. Bryant will share the students’ videos with organizations dedicated to rehabilitating the sturgeon population. You can see examples of their videos below.
This project highlights a real problem that is close to home. Students are passionate about it. They see one sturgeon every school day, in the aquarium in their classroom. Later this school year, they will release the fish back into its natural habitat.
