LakeVille High School Summer School

LakeVille High School’s summer school credit recovery program is being offered once again this year! Summer school will run from July 5th, 2021 – July 30th, 2021. Registration forms must be received by Thursday, July 1st, 2021 at 2:30 p.m. in order for the student’s Edgenuity account to be set up and activated. 

Registration forms are at this link and may be dropped off at the high school main office during office hours or scanned/emailed to kvogt@lakevilleschools.org by Thursday, July 1st at 2:30 p.m. If mailing the registration form to the address noted on this letter also include: To the Attention of Summer School on the address/envelope. There will be no cost for summer school courses this year due to federal Covid appropriations. Students can take up to three courses during the four week summer school period.

Students will be able to access their coursework at https://www.edgenuity.com/login/. Students’ usernames and passwords will be emailed to the address listed on the registration form by 5:00 pm on July 2nd. Weekly progress reports will be sent directly to this email as well. Wifi access is needed to access Edgenuity. Edgenuity can be utilized via android devices, smartphones, as well as any type of computer or laptop that has internet access.

An open computer lab on the high school campus will be available in Room 228 Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, beginning July 6th, 2021 – July 29th, 2021. It will be open each of these days from 8am to 11am.

Grades for coursework taken and completed will be processed no later than the end of the work day on August 6th. Families will receive an email with verification of the grade processed. Again, the email used for this notification will be the email included on the registration form.

Please email Karlene Vogt at kvogt@lakevilleschools.org if assistance is needed with course selection(s). Ms. Vogt will be available via email through July 1st at 2:30 p.m. to answer any questions you may have regarding the selection of class (es).

Ken Whitney will be the lead teacher during the summer school program. He is available to assist with any summer school questions Monday – Friday, 8:00-11:00, from July 5th – July 30th. Mr. Whitney can be contacted via email at kwhitney@lakevilleschools.org.

Again, registration forms must be received by the high school by Thursday, July 1st, 2:30 p.m.
