Chromebook insurance can be purchased for $26 for the Chromebook or $31 for both Chromebook and charger.
The insurance increased this year because the cost of Chromebooks has increased. It now will cost $350 to replace a lost or damaged device if it's not insured.

Only high school students will be assigned a Chromebook to take home, so insurance is not necessary for middle school and elementary students.
