SUB CALLING PROCEDURE

FOR LAKEVILLE COMMUNITY SCHOOLS

(Teachers, Parapros, Secretaries)

We have eliminated the computer substitute calling process used during the last year and will  

return to a live call in for substitutes.  Gloria Taylor will receive these calls and assign substitutes.

To access the sub line, call either # 810-591-3436 or 810-538-3436.  The sub line is live 24 hours seven days a week.  Please call for a substitute before 6:30 a.m for High School/Middle School teachers and by 7:00 a.m. for Elementary teachers. Please leave a short message including the following information:

1.  Building and Assignment

2.  Date or dates you will be absent

3.  AM, PM or full day of absence

4.  Reason for absence (sick, personal, funeral, professional development,

     supplementary assignment, union business, etc.)

5.  You may request a particular sub.  We will attempt to honor your request,

      but in no instance will we displace an already assigned sub to grant your

      request.
